| 1) What do you do with your spare tire? This kit is intended to be used with an after market swing out tire carrier. We have yet to run into any after market swing out tire carrier that was not compatible with the fold down conversion kits. 2) For the YJ and TJ kit, when installing the tailgate kit, do you have to drop the gas tank to gain access to the bottom hinge fasteners? No, you don't have to drop the gas tank. We provide a 1"x 4" nut insert plate that in inserted through a hole in the factory body. 3) How long does it take to install this kit? Typically this kit takes 3 to 4.5 hours to install, once brackets are painted. 4) What kind of tools are required for installation? Tool list consist of, hammer, punch, drill, drill bits, level, torx bits, allen wrenches, tape measure, 5/16"x18 tap, general sockets, wrenches, and an air impact helps to remove the factory torx bolts that hold on your OEM hinges. |
