20 TON Finger Brake Press DIY Builder Kit

Press Brake kit comes un-assembled, you do the final assembly and welding.

Designed to fit the Harbor Freight 20 ton hydraulic press Item # 32879 & 60603. Press brake kit includes an adjustable back stop for accurate and repeatable bends. .

The top clamping bar is machined out of 4140 material and includes 5 segmented removable sections. 1", 2", 3", 4" and 9.5" long pieces. These segmented blocks can be removed and rearranged to allow bending of restricted areas on a piece of sheet metal or on an already partially formed pieces.

  • Max Bending Radius (deg.) 110
  • Max Bending Capacity 3/8" plate
  • Max Bending Width 19.25"
  • Total width of the brake is 22.125" wide

Tools required for assembly: welder, grinder, level, small square.
It Is capable of bending mild steel in the following length and thickness.

  • 19" = Full bending width of the bottom die on anything 1/8" or thinner.
  • 15" in 3/16"
  • 12" in 1/4"
  • 5" in 3/8"

Awesome Press Brake

This is a great press brake. Works great, bent 3/16" plate like nothing. Also, really fun and pretty simple to assemble.

Still waiting but happy so far

Received the standard press brake package but instead of the kit being welded, as I had ordered it, the kit was only half done. I called and got someone to call back nearly immediately and spoke to a very freindly and courteous person who checked my order and agreed that I didn't get what I ordered. He immediately said that they would send out the welded part and would have a return label for the unwelded part. That was one of the best customer service experiences that I have ever been through.
The downside is that I am still waiting to receive the new part. As of today, Fed Ex still has not delivered and says it is waiting for the package to come from SWAG.
Other than that, I am completely happy with SWAG customer service and product quality. I will most likely buy the flat top next.

High expectations with medium delivery

I had extremely high expectations of this product, but no matter what I do, I can’t get all of the fingers to stay in at once. No matter what, one always falls out. I have tried different torque settings, different order of operations for bolt tightening, etc. seems like a sturdy product, but this one issue limits my ability to utilize it efficiently. However, I have not reached out to swag for assistance so I have not given them the opportunity to help me so that is my bad

Great Product

Kit was pretty explanatory. It will work for my needs to handle the thicker metal I use.
