PRO Brake Window Punch

Take on more complex bends with the SWAG Off Road PRO Brake Window Punch.

Designed for jobs where standard press brake punches run out of clearance, the Window Punch features a large open center section that allows previously formed flanges and tall workpieces to pass through the tooling during the bending process. The window measures 6.125" wide by 3.5" tall, making this punch an excellent option for forming deep boxes, narrow channels, enclosures, pans, and parts with multiple return bends.

The added clearance gives you more flexibility when completing second, third, and final bends that would otherwise interfere with a traditional straight punch. Whether you are building custom brackets, fabricated assemblies, or enclosed components, the Window Punch expands the range of parts you can produce with your PRO Brake.

This punch is taller than our standard PRO Brake tooling, allowing you to form deeper channels and taller-sided parts. Spacers are included with the punch to raise the top assembly higher on the guide rods and provide the additional clearance needed for the taller tooling.

A bending-capability diagram is provided below to help illustrate the types of bends and channel depths this punch can produce. Please note that maximum material thickness will vary depending on the width of the material being bent and the size of the bottom die being used.

Because window-style punches have an open center section, their allowable tonnage may be lower than comparable solid punches.
