- SWAG Machined Drive Hub
I just finished installing the full bundle kit … super easy to set this all up I tested a piece of 1.5 120 wall thickness it rolled it with ease ! Im very happy so far ! I’ll be upgrading to the dies soon as well
Haven't had the time to work on it yet, but it looks like it's going to be a good deal. Good instructions. Good parts. Not sure when I can get to it but I'm looking forward to it. Thank you!
At this point I've only installed the extension plates.
I used the 2" dies to roll 1-1/4 sched 40 aluminum pipe.
I know that its not designed for this but...rules are meant to be broken.
It worked great !
This is a great upgrade for the roller it definitely beefs it up a bit and spreads out the pressure only issue I ran into was that while installing the nut onto to drive shaft 4.5" is to much, I ended up grinding out the weld and fitting it specifically where I wanted it so that there was not interference with the spring hanger besides that great product.
Few items to make this "right". It "will" work but even with all the mods it still needs help. Hardware upgrades, update for the moment arm is required to fit the Bauer pipe threader, instructions need to be up and the high suggestion to broach out the inside of the drive pulley is a must to utilize the key way which is a MUST.
Thank you for your order.
Sorry to hear that you aren't completely satisfied with your Harbor Freight Tubing Roller Bundle. Though our kit makes the Harbor Freight Roller considerably more capable and easy to use, at the end of the day, it is still a Harbor Freight Tubing Roller.
In regards to the Bauer pipe threader: unfortunately, as stated in the product listing for the Bundle, this kit is not compatible with that particular unit. After a good deal of testing, we are not confident that the roller can handle that much torque for very long before spontaneously disassembling.
We do have the instructions for the assembly of the different kits on their respective pages.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.
