If you're like me, sometimes you are tempted to make your own tool, and I actually did make a version of this. I was determined to make mine quickly in an attempt to spend less than $200 worth of my time on the project, and I did. However, after doing a quick proof of concept project, it became clear that my little bender would eventually cost me more in production time because it lacked all of the elegant features of the FU Bar. I decided to pay the more than reasonable price for this tool, and let me tell you, this guy paid for itself in so many ways. From the pin sleeves that let you adjust the radius of the bends, to the degree marks and adjustable stops on the outer ring, this thing is truly set up to get you the bend you need. The complexity of bends you can do can also not be overstated. This thing is also built to last. I have since run over a mile (5,280') worth of 1/8" flat bar through this tool, and the only thing that has worn is the black anodizing on the head of tool just below the pins. I've built 130' worth of the guardrails in my photos, and this tool had done all the bending. Don't think twice, this is a very valuable tool at a very low price. Below are some photos of a set of guardrails I designed. They are recreations of topographical maps of significant locations to my client. I also did their exterior guardrails in the same style with different maps. No two rungs are the same. Couldn't have done it without SWAG!

This bender is a great addition to the shop. Fast east setup yet it has the degree wheel and a stop for repeatable bends. The quality is fantastic.
High quality, just as I've come to expect from Swag. Works exactly as expected. Stops are super convenient for making duplicate parts.
The capacity was less than I expected. I bend alot of 3/8 round and wish it would bend 1/2. 3/8 is definitely maxing it out.
